Andrea Williams – Advisory Board Member
Andrea is originally from Long Island, NY and currently resides in London with her husband, two sons and a daughter. She received her BA from Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1993 with a major in International Business, concentration in Economics, and a minor in the German language. One semester was spent studying International Finance in Vienna, Austria.
After graduation, she worked for a year in Frankfurt, Germany, for a consulting company, paid for by a joint grant from the US and German governments. Andrea then worked for a consulting division of Arthur Andersen Real Estate Advisory Services in Washington, D.C. Here she worked on privatization feasibility projects in developing countries. After two years, in 1997, she moved to New York City and began working at JP Morgan.
Initially at JPMorgan, Andrea worked as an Associate in the Financial Group for Credit Risk and then in the Private Banking Self Directed Investors in a credit/trading/sales support role. She then moved into a Credit Portfolio team where she managed the JPM and Chase merger from a credit risk reporting perspective and implemented various credit risk projects. She was promoted to Vice President in 2001.
In 2002 Andrea transferred to the JPM London office. She managed a small global team responsible for Credit Portfolio reporting. In 2003 she had her first child and returned to JPM in a Principal Finance group and was responsible for developing the Operations infrastructure for the creation of a new JPM business in Frankfurt.
In 2005 she had her second child and returned to JPM where she managed the European Operations team for Global Credit Risk Management with a team in London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan and Bahrain. In 2008, Andrea had her third child, and after almost 12 years at JPM, has decided to take time off from work.
